Town Hall Meeting to Be Held June 25
Topics for discussion will include the 2011 legislative session, redistricting, and other issues
Del. Rich Anderson (R-51) and Sen. George Barker (D-39) will hold a town hall meeting on June 25 at the Prince William County’s James J. McCoart Government Administration Building to meet with constituents who live in their respective House of Delegates district and Senate of Virginia district.
The meeting will begin at 10 a.m. and conclude by noon. The event is free and open to the general public. The McCoart Building is located at 1 County Complex Court, Woodbridge, VA 22192.
Topics for discussion will include a review of the 2011 legislative session in January and February of this year; the redistricting process for the Virginia House, Virginia Senate, and U.S. House of Representatives; and any other matter of interest and importance to citizens.

Under redistricting legislation signed by Gov. Robert F. McDonnell earlier this year, the 51st House District will now extend across Prince William County from Occoquan in the east to Nokesville in the west. The 39th Senatorial District will include portions of southern Fairfax County, eastern Prince William County, and Springfield.
