Video: Residents Speak Out at Second Commuter Town Hall
Supervisors Frank Principi (Woodbridge) and Mike May (Occoquan) held a second town hall meeting to advise on the commuter parking situation.
Commuters and residents gathered at the meeting co-hosted by supervisors Frank Principi and Mike May Wednesday evening to speak about their concerns, ideas and suggestions for the current situation.
Area commuters are still feeling the strain after Potomac Mills mall reduced 750 parking spaces from its commuter parking lot on Feb. 14 in anticipation of expanded construction. In an effort to offset that loss, the Prince William Department of Transportation inked a lease with
Tom Blaser, Director of Prince William County Department of Transportation, again reminded residents that the lot is available for use. It opened to the public on March 14, but has been underutilized since its opening.
