Marine Corps 17.75K Sells Out Fast
Race popular for runners eying access to Marine Corps Marathon.
There they go! The runners of the 17.75K at Prince William National Forest may move fast, but they won't match the speed that bibs disappeared for this year's race.
The 11-mile event April 12 guarantees access to the Marine Corps Marathon. The 1,775 slots for the Prince William run were gone in 9 minutes.
There are other running options — registration opened Wednesday for the Marine Corps Historic Half (13.1 miles), the Historic 10K (6.2 miles) and Semper Fred 5K (3.1 miles).
