P-Nats Fall to Lynchburg in Double Header

Sunday's games proved difficult for the Potomac Nationals.

lost two games on Sunday, in a double header, against the Lynchburg Hillcats. 

Evenly matched until the sixth inning, the P-Nats fell in the first of two games after Philip Gosselin brought in the Hillcats' third run of the game.

J. Ramirez scored the first run of the game in the second inning for the P-Nats, and Jeff Kobernus scored the second run in the fifth inning.

In their second game, the P-Nats fell to the Hillcats 2-5. Jeff Kobernus and Destin Hood brought in the the only two runs for the P-Nats in the first inning. Lynchburg brought in three runs in the second inning and two more in the sixth and the seventh.

The P-Nats will take on Winston-Salem away today at 4 p.m.
