"Recycling Pays" Nights with the Potomac Nationals

Score discounted or free tickets to upcoming Potomac Nationals games by showing your commitment to recycling at the team's "Recycling Pays" game series July 18 and Aug. 15.

The Potomac Nationals invite you to a pair of game nights at Pfitzner Stadium where the team will demonstrate the importance of recycling.

“Recycling Pays,” sponsored by the Prince William County Recycling Program, will take place Friday, July 18 as the Nationals take on the Wilmington Blue Rocks (Kansas City Royals) and Friday, Aug. 15 in the game against the Carolina Mudcats (Cleveland Indians).

P-Nats fans who show up to either game with recyclables in hand will receive half-off general admission tickets. Those who tweet or post to Facebook pictures of themselves recycling inside the ballpark during the first game on July 18 will receive free tickets to the second game on Aug. 15.

Twitter and Facebook posts made during the Aug. 15 game will be rewarded with an undated ticket voucher for the 2015 season. Fans who bring recyclables to the second P-Nats game will receive 50 percent off general admission tickets for that evening’s game.

The Prince William County Solid Waste Division (SWD) provides solid waste management, recycling, composting and waste resource education to over 400,000 residents.
