26 Promoted in Prince William Department of Fire and Rescue Ceremony

The ceremony was held at Forest Park High School.

From the Prince William County Department of Fire and Rescue: 

On Thursday, July 26, Prince William County Department of Fire & Rescue held its Promotion and Awards Ceremony at Forest Park High School. Assistant Chief Hadden Culp (retired) presided over the ceremony.

The Department recognized 26 uniform members promoted to the ranks of Technician II, Lieutenant, Captain and Battalion Chief. Attached are photos of the event.

Special Awards Presentation

During the evening ceremony, Chief McGee introduced a new award from the Department -- the “Fire Instructor of the Year Award." This award was presented to Lieutenant Ed Rahl. In his honor, future recipients of the award will receive the “Lieutenant Ed Rahl Award for Excellence in Fire Service Instruction."
