Woodbridge Weather: Enhanced Wildfire Threat Continues Tuesday

The National Weather Service is advising of an enhanced wildfire threat Tuesday afternoon and early evening for Woodbridge, Dale City, Lake Ridge and other areas of Prince William County due to low fuel moistures and low relative humidity.

NWS forecasts that a northwest wind will gust 20 to 25 miles per hour behind a cold front across Maryland, northern and central Virginia and eastern West Virginia.

"The relative humidity will drecase to around 30 percent this afternoon and fuel moisture will remain low due to little rainfall over the last several days," said NWS. Winds are expected to diminish at sunset.
