Quantico Car Show, Paranorman, Woodbridge Music Club Concert

What to do this weekend.

Quantico is having a car show on Sept. 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Daly Hall Parking lot at 2034 Barnett Avenue. Registration is $10 for active duty, $15 for retirees and $20 for civilians. Awards will be given. Free admission for non-competitors. Event includes music, food, and children's activities. 

The Woodbridge Music Club is holding a concert on Sept. 21 at 7 p.m. at St. Paul United Methodist Church at 1400 G Street in Woodbridge. Free. Refreshments will be served after the concert. 

Prince William Ice Center holds an open skate from 12:10 p.m. to 2:10 p.m. on Saturdays.

Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center will host a Movie Night on Saturday. The shopping center will be screening “Paranorman” on the jumbotron. Free. 7 p.m. 14900 Potomac Town Place, Woodbridge.

There’s not much left in the summer concert season, but Jiffy Lube Live amphitheater is going to “Do It Again.” Steely Dan will be taking the stage with classic hits like “Reelin’ in the Years” and “Rikki Don’t Lose That Number.” From $42. 7:30 p.m. Friday. 7800 Cellar Door Drive, Bristow.

Historic Manassas Restaurant Week kicks off on Sunday. Participating restaurants will have a 3-course meal for $35 or $25 per person. Restaurants include Okra’s, Carmello’s and more. Begins Sunday.

High school isn’t just for students this weekend. Potomac High School Community Day will include a 5K color run at 8 a.m. Saturday. Events also include a moon bounce, dunk tank, book swap, relays and other games, face painting, performances and more. 10 a.m. Saturday. 3401 Panther Pride Drive, Dumfries.

The official start for the Cox Farms Fall Festival isn’t here yet, but that shouldn’t stop you. The Preview Weekend includes all the hayrides, giant slides, swings, animals and live music you’d expect, along with apples, cider and pumpkins. $14. 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at 15621 Braddock Road, Centreville.

There will be rocking ‘60s music at the Workhouse Arts Center. The Sixth Generation will be performing classic tunes. The performance will be outdoors at the Rizer Pavilion, weather permitting. Seating is available, but you can also bring your own. $10-$15. 8 p.m. Friday at 9601 Ox Road, Lorton.
