Wine Country Bus Trip. Nov. 9, 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Meet at the LRPRA lot at 12350 Oakwood Drive in Woodbridge. Tour Narmada Winery, Morais Vineyards and Potomac Point Winery. $85 per person, pre-registration required.
Tribute to Freedom concert. Nov. 10, 2 p.m. National Museum of the Marine Corps, 18900 Jefferson Davis Highway, Triangle. Free patriotic concert.

Veterans Honored. The Greater Manassas Veterans Day Parade returns this weekend, with a special recognition to the veterans of the Persian Gulf War. Participants include local police departments, the Osbourn High Marching Band, various American Legion posts and other veteran and JROTC organizations. Free. 11 a.m. Saturday. The parade route includes Prescott Avenue beginning at Quarry Road and along Center Street in downtown Manassas.
Picture People. Photographers travel to Northern Virginia this weekend for the Nature Visions Photo Expo. The event includes classes and seminars organized by area photography clubs. An exhibit hall will have more than 300 images for sale. Admission to the expo floor Saturday and Sunday is free, along with access to two juried photo galleries. Art Collection Steals. Bring your cash, but you might not need that credit card. Items for sale in the 100 Under 200 show at the McGuireWoods Gallery include pieces from 100 artists that are all under $200. New items will be rotated in weekly from Saturday thru Jan. 5.
