The Beginning of the End

There is actually a purpose (sorta) to this blog on non-duality.  It all links back to an experience I had about 2 years ago.  It was so profound, frightening, wonderful and weird that I haven't been able to forget it. All the major questions in life were answered in that one experience, "why am I here?", "what is life?", "what is death"?  It wasn't a near death experience. I wasn't floating out of my body or in a state of meditation.  I was staring at the 400 emails in my work email box wondering why the spam folder was doing a crappy job of filtering all the spam!! Anyway, I discovered that the answer is the same for every question. It's so simple.  It's so obvious.  The answer is LITERALLY right in front of our faces.  In fact, it's closer than that. That's why we can't see it.  Before the questions can be answered, though, you have to know that all questions are propaganda for themselves.  This means that a simple question like, "Why am I here?" is chock full of assumptions that you must believe in in order to ask the question in the first place.  There are at least 4 assumptions (that we take as fact) in that one simple question. Therefore, answering a question...any question...begins with identifying, looking at and questioning the assumptions within the question.
