Unfortunately, I didn't receive the same "customer service" as the previous two comments. I arrived at CR Jewelers about 10 am and spoke with an employee. She took my sterling silver and ran an acid test and said that the color of the test result was not bright red. She suggested that I speak with the jeweler's expert later this afternoon. I then gave her 3 coins which were silver (on-line web site states that the silver value for all 3 coins is $44.00 + based on daily silver rate). She gave me an estimate of about $9.00 +. I explained to her that I did my homework, and ... again, she suggested that I speak with an expert later this afternoon. So, I politely thanked her, and sold my silver (which clearly states "sterling" on it, and my coins and received a grand total of $60.00 (about $27 or sterling and $33 for the 3 coins). The web site doesn't advise customers that the need to make an appoint for an appraiser. Or, at least I didn't see it.
Not very happy dealing with them.
