Dear Owner of Old Virginia Tobacco Company,
I was visiting Manassas Mall tonight with my children to get a picture with Santa Claus. The Old Virginia Tobacco Store is right near the line for the children to wait to see Santa.
There were three men in the store smoking cigars this evening. My son who has Severe Asthma was bothered by the smoke that was coming out of the store. He had to use his inhaler due to the smoke inhalation and pollution of smoke out into the mall. I went to the store and asked that if they would shut the door. The men in the store yelled at me and called me a BITCH telling me it was their right to smoke in the store and to leave the door open. The gentleman managing the store refused to give me his name. He allowed his customers to speak for the store and allowed numbers of children to inhale poisonous cigar smoke.
Security for Manassas Mall confirmed that the Mall is a Non-Smoking Property. I plan on filing a formal complaint with whoever will listen. It is NEVER anyone's right to make my son suffer by inhaling their Cigar Smoke!! All I asked was that they shut the store door. :(
