The Cheap Gas in Lake Ridge is Not as Cheap as You Think: A Rant
My disappointing experience with two local gas stations last night.
There are few things I hate more than late night gas runs. (One of those few things being waking up in the morning and having to dash somewhere and then remembering that I don't have enough gas in the car.) So last night, I finally logged off my computer for the night and drove five miles to the nearest, cheapest gas station. There are several gas stations within a mile of my house, but I figured a five mile drive would be worth it for what I thought was the cheapest gas in the area. On Old Bridge Road, Coastal and Fast Fuels both had signs out stating that their gas was $3.58 a gallon, a full four cents cheaper than the next cheapest option.
