Virginia New Majority Endorses Lateef for Chairman

Another organization has added its seal of approval for Lateef

Babur Lateef, democratic nominee for the Board of County Supervisors chairman position, has received another nomination from non-profit Virginia New Majority.  From a prepared statement by Virginia New Majority: "Dr. Lateef shares with us a vision for Prince William County as a beacon of acceptance, fairness, and freedom. Prince William County Elections 2011: County Chairman

Here are the candidates who have filed for state and local races to date.

Correction: An earlier version of this story had incorrect information about John Gray's media advertisements. Gray's advertisement about the stimulus funds was critical of supervisors' who he said contradicted themselves during the debate. Prince William County Chairman Incumbent: Corey Stewart (R) Challenger: John Gray (I) Challenger: Babur Lateef (D) Some pundits still think County Chairman Corey Stewart has his eyes set on a U.S. Senate seat vacated by Democrat Jim Webb, but the field of candidates for that seat is filling up. It is fine if you think attention to the details of constituent services are unimportant, but I do not see the need to run down the people at Mattress Discounters.
