Woodbridge suspect charged with malicious wounding, Manassas Police said.
A Tuesday morning visit in Manassas turned violent after an altercation between two men spun out of control, according to Manassas City Police. Lamont Keishaun Jordan,39, of Berling Court in Woodbridge is charged with malicious wounding. The suspect was visiting the victim at his Wellington Road home at 10 a.m. when they began arguing and fighting, Manassas Police Sgt. Lowell Nevill said. At some point, the suspect cut the victim's hand with a knife, police reports show. Jordan remains in custody at the local jail. No bond has been set, but he is expected to appear in court May 6.

Multi-jurisdictional task force nets ecstasy, prescription drug arrests.
Investigators with the Prince William-Manassas-Manassas Park Task Force netted three arrests in connection with the sale of prescription and illegal drugs in the area, according to a press release issued by the Prince William County Police Department. Earlier this month, the task force wrapped up an investigation into the illegal selling of Ecstasy (MDMA) and marijuana, police reports show. Tyler Glenn Goetz, 20, of Manassas was arrested June 7 in the Westgate area by police. He is charged with possession with intent to distribute a schedule I or II narcotic and possession with intent to distribute marijuana. He remains in custody on a $20,000 secured bond.
