Prince William Police unable to locate driver, who fled after officers pulled his or her vehicle over.
A driver fled Saturday after being pulled over for a suspected DUI near the Prince William County Parkway, leading to a police chase, Prince William County Police said. As the officer was walking to the vehicle at 11:22 p.m. Nov. 17 near Telegraph Road, the driver sped off. Officers pursued the vehicle onto Hillendale Drive, then onto Dale Boulevard, where they lost sight of the car. Officers checked area streets, then found the car on the 13900 block of Gum Lane. Police said the car had apparently struck another parked vehicle on Hillendale Drive while the driver was fleeing. Police said they do not believe the car was stolen. However, they were unable to locate the driver.

Police arrested and charged a Woodbridge man on Sunday after a pursuit from Interstate 95 to Montclair. Prince William County police reports said that an officer was notified of a stolen vehicle traveling on I-95 via the automatic license plate reader on Sunday evening. Police said the officer followed the vehicle off of I-95 onto Route 234 where the officer tried to make a vehicle stop near Four Seasons Drive in Montclair. Reports said the driver allegedly ignored the officer’s emergency equipment, lights and siren by continuing on Route 234 near Waterway Drive when the driver lost control of the vehicle while trying to make a right turn on to the street. Police said the two fled after their vehicle crashed on I-95 while fleeing from a larceny in Fredericksburg.
Virginia State Police are on the lookout for two suspects who fled after their Chevy Impala crashed on Interstate 95 in Prince William County. Police were chasing the Impala after a Fredericksburg larceny. VSP spokeswoman Corrine Geller said the crash happened after the suspects drove through the rest stop at mile marker 150. The Impala pulled in front of a semi truck, which was unable to stop. The two suspects fled on foot, while another individual in the Impala was injured and flown to Inova Fairfax Hospital. VSP, Prince William County Police and Spotsylvania County Sherrif's Office are searching for the suspects.
