Teacher Charged for Not Reporting Suspected Abuse

The following information comes from the Prince William County Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

A Marumsco Hills Elementary School teacher has been charged with failure to report suspected abuse to authorities. Prince William County police reports said that two students allegedly approached the teacher individually following a presentation at school called “Hugs and Kisses.” Get daily and breaking news email updates from Woodbridge Patch by signing up for newsletters here. The program is put on by Prevent Child Abuse Virginia to teach elementary school children how to keep safe from or report sexual abuse.
