An Alexandria man faces charges after a confrontation with the police during a search, Prince William County Police said. Gregory Graham, 43, of Pantano Place, is charged with assault and battery on a law enforcement officer. A Prince William County officer conducted a search on Graham at 3 a.m. Tuesday at the Garfield Station in Woodbridge after an arrest. "During the search, the accused became agitated and refused to listen to officers," police spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok said, in a press release. "At one point, the accused grabbed one of the officers and attempted to push him out of the way. Officers were able to detain the accused after a brief struggle." Training is open to all faith-based organizations.
The Prince William County Police Department’s Crime Prevention Unit will host a security seminar for faith-based organizations on May 30. Police will provide information on how to create a safer house of worship at the free seminar, which will take place from 9 a.m.-noon at the Western District Station, 8900 Freedom Center Blvd., Manassas. Topics will include crime prevention, how to plan for critical incidents, the Department’s “Worship Watch” program, and an overview of a successful security plan, according to police. Training is open to all faith-based organizations, but the department requests that anyone interested RSVP. Click here for information on how to register.

Despite brandishing the weapon, Trevor Agustus Pinnock never pointed the gun at anyone, police said.
A Dale City man pulled out a gun after an argument with a family member escalated, Prince William County Police said. Trevor Agustus Pinnock, 61, of Nationville Lane, is charged with brandishing a firearm. Police responded on Monday at 5:50 p.m., when a family member reported that Pinnock retrieved a weapon during a verbal altercation. Pinnock never pointed the firearm, only brandished it, police said. Pinnock was subsequently released on personal recognizance. The information in this article was provided by the Prince William County Police Department. The suspect locked themselves in the bathroom before the station closed, police said.
A burglar entered a closed Mobil service station by locking themselves in the bathrooom and cutting a hole in the ceiling, Prince William County Police said. Police responded on Sunday at 3:33 p.m. to the service station on Gideon Drive in the Woodbridge area, where an employee reported the burglary. The suspect probably locked themselves in sometime between 9 p.m. Friday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, police said. After cutting the hole, the burglar climbed through and stole an undisclosed amount of cash.

A man armed with a handgun stole a woman's purse in broad daylight Sunday, Prince William County Police said. Police responded to the incident at 9:09 a.m., after the woman reported that she was robbed on the 13100 block of Occoquan Road. The woman said that she was walking in the area when an unknown man approached her and pulled out a gun. He demanded that she hand over her purse, then fled on foot. The victim was not injured. Police are on the lookout for a black male between 20-30 years old, about 6 feet tall, 190 pounds, with a medium build. He was wearing a light brown sweater, blue jeans and black boots.

Jonathan Joseph Deleon, 25, of Dupont Circle, is charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and conspiracy to violate the drug control act. Detectives from the Street Crimes Unit found marijuana when they searched a home on Carter Lane in Woodbridge on Friday, police spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok said. Police arrested Deleon without incident. He is held on a $10,000 secured bond and his court date is set for July 5. Officers investigating a burglary at a Dale City home charged the homeowner after they found that he manufactured marijuana, Prince William County Police said. Montrose Vereen Ham, 35, of Telfair Court, is charged with manufacturing marijuana and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Officers responded on Saturday to the 4600 block of Telfair Court at 4:01 p.m., when residents of the home reported a burglary. The residents reported that they were on an upper floor of the home when they heard glass breaking downstairs. After they heard the glass break, they ran to a neighbor's house and called the police. Two drivers were robbed after meeting up with an unknown woman in Woodbridge, police said.
Two men were robbed at knifepoint in the Woodbridge area on Sunday in potentially related incidents, Prince William County Police said. Police responded to the first incident at 8 a.m., when a 37-year-old Woodbridge man reported that he was robbed. The victim said that he made arrangements to meet an unknown woman near Gardenview Loop and Summerland Drive. After he arrived, he found the woman with a man who demanded that the victim hand over car keys and money. The man and the woman took the victim's cell phone and an undisclosed amount of cash, then fled with his Toyota SUV. The victim was not injured.
