Woman Charged With Falsely Summoning Police in Lake Ridge

Prince William County Police determined that the call was related to a dispute with her landlord.

Police charged a Lake Ridge woman with falsely summoning the police after she reported a burglary and police determined that there had been no burglary, Prince William County Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said. Erica Brown, 26, of Carolyn Forest Drive, was arrested Wednesday. Her court date is unavailable, and she is being held on a $1,500 secured bond. Police responded to Carolyn Forest Drive on Wednesda at 3:44 p.m. for the report of a burglary in progress. "A resident, later identified as the accused, reported to police that she rents out the top portion of the residence and could hear voices in the separate basement resident area," Perok said. Police Seek Armed Robbery Suspect in 7-Eleven Incident

The man reportedly pulled out a gun and demanded money at Woodbridge location, Prince William County Police said.

Police are looking for a man who reportedly robbed the 7-Eleven at 16806 Jefferson Davis Highway in Woodbridge on April 25, Prince William County Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said. Police responded at 3:41 a.m. Thursday for the report of a robbery. The employees told police that an unknown man had come into the store and approached the cash register.  "Once there, the man displayed a handgun and demanded money," Perok said. "The man then fled the area on foot. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect." Police are looking for black man between 18 and 30 years old, 5-foot-10, of a thin build with black hair. He was described as wearing dark clothing.

Recent Burglaries: Jewelry, Gaming Consoles, Cash Stolen

A roundup of recent Woodbridge area burglaries, according to Prince William County Police.

A homeowner in the 1900 block of Heatherbrook Court in Lake Ridge reported the recent loss of $1,000 of jewelry and some cash. Police responded on April 22 at 9:42 p.m. and found no signs of forced entry into the house. The homeowner told police that the burglary happened between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. that same day. A homeowner in the 1300 block of East Longview Drive in Woodbridge reported the recent loss of a purse filled with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police responded on April 22 at 7 a.m. and found no signs of forced entry into the house. The homeowner told police that the burglary happened between 11:30 p.m. on April 21 and 6 a.m. on April 22. A homeowner in the 2600 block of Maple Ridge Drive in Woodbridge reported the loss of an …

Man Exposes Himself to Woman on Dale City Street

The unidentified man has not been located, Prince William County Police said.

Police are looking for a man who reportedly exposed himself to a woman in Dale City on April 22, Prince William County Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.  Police responded to Eileen Court in Dale City at 9:44 p.m. on April 22 for the report of an indecent exposure. "The victim, a 24-year-old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she was walking in the area above when she encountered an unknown man who then lower his pants and exposed himself to her," Perok said. "The victim ran home and contacted police. Officers checked the area and did not locate the man." Police are looking for a black man between 18 and 21 years old, 6-foot-2, about 150 pounds, of a thin build with short black hair. He was last seen wearing a blue or …

Police: Four Arrested in Lake Ridge Burglary Investigation

An $800 watch was reported stolen, Prince William County Police said.

Police charged four Maryland men with burglary and grand larceny after a Lake Ridge homeowner reported the loss of an $800 watch, Prince William County Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.  District Heights residents Antoine Tate, 22, and Darius Bryant, 18, and Forestville residents Jarel Dickerson and Clifton Johnson, both 18, were arrested on Monday, April 22, the same day the burglary reportedly took place. Their court date and bond information is unavailable. Police initially responded to the 11600 block of Nellings Place at 2:47 p.m. for the report of a burglary in progress. Man Sentenced For Giving Minor Heroin, Filming Her in Sexual Activity

The Silver Spring man has been sentenced to more than 12 years after he gave a minor narcotics in Woodbridge in exchange for sexual acts.

A Silver Spring man was sentenced to 150 months, or 12 and a half years, in prison after he pled guilty to giving heroin and oxycodone to several young women, including a minor, according to an FBI release. Robert Chin, 66, gave heroin to the minor in exchange for sex acts, including filming her in sexual activity with three adults.  "On one occasion in 2008, Chin rented a hotel room in Woodbridge, Va., and provided the minor with heroin. He then attempted to have sexual intercourse with her," the release stated. "On another occasion in June 2012, Chin rented a hotel room in Woodbridge, Virginia, where he provided heroin and oxycodone to the same minor. After providing the minor with narcotics, Chin filmed her as she engaged in sexual …

Police: Mob Assaults Dale City Man

Prince William County Police are looking for six or seven men and three women.

Police are looking for six or seven men and three women who reportedly assaulted a Dale City man as he was walking home on April 21, Prince William County Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.  Police initially responded to Belvedere Drive at 11:42 p.m. for the report of an assault. The victim told police that he was walking home when a group of people he didn't know approached him. "The group assaulted the victim, knocking him to the ground," Perok said. "A passing vehicle caused the group to scatter. Minor injuries were reported." The victim described the group as being six or seven black men and three black women, all wearing black.
