Man Stabbed During Argument in Woodbridge

The 22-year-old victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

A Woodbridge man was stabbed during an argument with two unknown men Saturday, according to Prince William County Police.  Police said that the 22-year-old victim and two friends were involved in a "verbal altercation" with two unknown men on the 2000 block of Daniel Stuart Square. During the argument, one of the men pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim in the upper body, police said.  The suspects fled on foot after the assault, and the victim was taken to a local hospital, where the police were called around 12:10 a.m. The victim's injuries were not life-threatening, police said.  The first suspect was described as white, 20-30 years old, with a heavy build. Police: Man Stabbed With Knife in Woodbridge

A Woodbridge woman was charged with malicious wounding, according to Prince William County Police.

Police have charged a woman with malicious wounding after a Woodbridge man said he was stabbed with a knife on Bayside Avenue on April 9, Prince William County Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said. Temeko Ramsey Sanders, 33, of Woodbridge, was arrested that same day. Police initially responded to the area at 1:30 a.m. on April 9 for the report of an assault.  "The victim, a 27-year-old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated," Perok said. Police: Man Stabbed at Water's Edge in Woodbridge

The victim could not describe his attacker to Prince William County Police.

A man was reportedly stabbed by an unknown person at 12:50 a.m. on March 30 at Water's Edge at 13188 Marina Way in Woodbridge, Prince William County Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.  Police responded to the restaurant for the report of a stabbing. "The victim, a 25-year-old man of Alexandria, reported to police that he was inside the establishment when he was pushed by an unknown person," Perok said. "After the encounter, the victim realized that he was bleeding from his side." The victim's injury was minor and he was treated at a nearby hospital. He was unable to describe his attacker to police.

Police: Pawn City Employee Stabbed Twice in the Neck in Dale City

A Dumfries man was charged with aggravated malicious wounding, Prince William County Police said.

Police charged a Dumfries man with aggravated malicious wounding after a Pawn City employee in Dale City was reportedly stabbed twice in the neck on March 7, Prince William County Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said. Andre Paul Poindexter, 20, was arrested that same day. Police initially responded on at 1:16 p.m. to the Pawn City at 4124 Dale Blvd for the report of a robbery. "The investigation revealed that a known customer to the business, identified as the accused, was in the process of completing a transaction with the victim, a 62-year-old man of Burke," Perok said. Police Looking For Suspects in Belfry Lane Stabbing

The victim reportedly did not know his attackers, according to Prince William County Police.

After a Woodbridge man was stabbed on Belfry Lane, Prince William County Police are looking for two suspects, police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said. Police are looking for two black males, one with dreadlocks. They were last seen wearing dark clothing, masks and gloves. No other description was given.  Police initially responded Feb. 25 at 8:40 p.m. to the 3400 block of Belfry Lane for a stabbing. "The victim, a 30-year-old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was walking in the area above when he was approached by two unknown, masked men," Perok said. I've been in the area now for 27 years now and although violent crime has always occurred, it was mostly a targeted attack, meaning the victim/s and criminal/s knew each other. The last 2 seem to be crimes of opportunity to unknown victims. Random violent crime is a bit scary and concerns me a lot. Police: Stabbing on Belfry Lane in Woodbridge

The victim was flown out for injuries that were not life-threatening, according to Prince William County Police.

A stabbing on Belfry Lane this evening left one victim with injuries that were not life-threatening, Prince William County Police said on their Facebook page.  Police are looking for two black males dressed in dark clothing, with masks.  "One suspect had dreadlocks, the other was armed with a knife," the Facebook post read.  The suspects reportedly fled on foot. The victim was flown out as a precaution. A Patch reader reported police up and down Minnieville Road at about 9 p.m. this evening.  This story is breaking and will be updated tomorrow with more information.

Teen Arrested on Malicious Wounding Charges

The unidentified 17-year-old male allegedly stabbed the victim with a piece of broken ceramic, police said.

Prince William County Police said that a teenager was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly stabbed a family member.  The unidentified 17-year-old male was arguing with a 53-year-old male family member when the incident started.  "During the encounter, the accused assaulted the victim which knocked both of them to the ground," police spokesperson Officer Jonathan Perok described the incident in a press release. "Once on the ground, the accused grabbed a piece of a broken ceramic bowl and stabbed the victim."  The victim went to a neighbor's house and called the police. He was treated at a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries to his hand.  The teenager was arrested without incident and charged with malicious wounding.

Suspects Arrested After Darbydale Stabbing Incident

The victim's vehicle has also been recovered.

Police have arrested both suspects in the Sept. 11 stabbing in the Darbydale neighborhood, a post on the Prince William County Police Department Facebook page announced.  'The victim's vehicle has been recovered," the post read. "More details will be provided in today's crime report which will be posted this afternoon." On Sept. 11, a 69-year-old Woodbridge man was reportedly in his residence on Del Mar Drive when two men forced their way into his home. One of the men then reportedly stabbed him with a knife, according to a police report.  The victim was then taken to a hospital for injuries that were life-threatening. Police Looking for White Buick in Darbydale Stabbing, Break-in

One man was known to the victim from a "past incident" police said.

Prince William County police are continuing an investigation into the reported stabbing and break-in in a section of Darbydale neighborhood.  Police are still looking for a 1991 white four-door Buick Regal sedan with Virginia tags 382506. In a police report, a 69-year-old Woodbridge man told police that he was in his residence in the 3700 block of Del Mar Drive in Dale City when two men allegedly forced their way inside.  "During the encounter, one of the men stabbed him with a knife," said police public information officer Jonathan Perok in a press release. Woodbridge Crime: Assault at Hotel, Gas Station Robbery

Assault and Battery at Best Western Prince William County police have arrested a Mesa, AZ man following a disorderly incident at the Best Western hotel in Woodbridge. Police responded to the hotel at 14619 Potomac Mills Road on May 19 for a disorderly call. “Police made contact with a room occupied by several individuals, including the accused,” said police public information officer Jonathan Perok. “Officers informed the group that they had to leave, at which point, the accused refused and grabbed the officer’s arm. A struggle ensued and the suspect was eventually arrested.” No injuries were reported but Steven Richard Henning, 51, faces charges of assault and battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest.
