Super Bowl 2013: Predictions, Television Schedule, Preview, Betting Lines

The Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers face off in Super Bowl XLVII on Sunday. Here's some information for getting the most out of the game in Woodbridge.

When the Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers meet in Super Bowl 47, several players will be familiar to the Virginian/DC area. The game, of course, is in New Orleans, but the Super Bowl reaches everywhere, including Woodbridge. Here's all the information you'll need to get the most out of the matchup, including local players to keep an eye on, television schedules and where to watch the game close to home. Super Bowl: 49ers Ahmad Brooks a Former Hylton Student

The 49ers are in the Super Bowl, and Brooks' sister and a former coach remember his high school days.

D. Hylton High School student Ahmad Brooks are cheering him on. "Everybody's pulling for him, that the hometown boy does good," Brooks' high school coach Bill Brown said. Brown coached at Hylton for the school's first 11 years. Football runs in Brooks' family. Cox Customers Report Peculiar Problem Watching Super Bowl

Some Cox Communications subscribers in Northern Virginia report they had to watch the Super Bowl in Spanish. Did you have a similar problem?

At least two dozen Cox Communications cable subscribers in Virginia who tuned into watch the Super Bowl on Sunday were forced to listen to the game in Spanish. McLean resident Peter Maucher said the commericials were broadcast in English, the on-field interviews were broadcast in English, but the play-by-play commentary was in Spanish only. Centreville resident Bryan Scrafford said his non-HD channel broadcast the game in English, but the HD version was Spanish only, too. He had the same problem when the NFL Pro Bowl aired last month. Mike Leone, director of public affairs for Cox in Northern Virginia, said no more than two dozen subscribers in Northern Virginia and the Hampton Roads area complained about a similar issue. This happened to me. I thought i was going nuts! Nice to know I wasn't alone. I tried to fix the SAP myself but to no avail. I called the company and they basically told me to try the same fixes I had already tried. They ended up rebooting my box and I lost a good portion of the first quarter along with the first touchdown. I was NOT happy.   more ›
