The unidentified 15-year-old male was charged with assault and battery.
Prince William County Police have arrested another Woodbridge Senior High School student in connection to a bathroom fight earlier this month. Officers had arrested a 17-year-old male on Oct. 17 on strangulation charges. Upon further investigation, police determined that the initial victim had assaulted the 17-year-old before the strangulation, said police spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok. The 15-year-old was charged with assault and battery on Oct. 23 in connection to the incident. "The 17-year-old male was in the restroom when the 15-year-old approached him and struck him in the leg several times. In retaliation, the 17-year-old male placed his arm around the 15-year-old, resulting in the strangulation," Perok said in a press release…

The Woodbridge Senior High School football team plays fellow Cardinal District Osbourn Park on Friday.
Hot off of their win against Gar-Field High School last Friday, the Woodbridge Vikings varsity football team is “taking one game at time” this season. Head coach Kevin Smith said Friday’s win 48-20 against Gar-Field, a historically rivaled game against the two Woodbridge schools, was important to the team’s season. “The crowd was electric,” said Smith of the team’s first Cardinal district game. “You definitely knew it was a Woodbridge Gar-Field game. The fans were very supportive on both sides. Gala awards announced at the Kennedy Center in June.
The only Cappie awards nomination for eastern Prince William County went to a Woodbridge Senior High School student. The Cappies critics and awards program is a program that trains high school students at theatre critics, then publishes their reviews in the news media. The student critics then vote for awards. The winners are announced at a gala in June. Woodbridge's Mia Amado is nominated for supporting actress in a play following her role in the school's production of A Miracle Worker. The Prince William Art Society awarded two $1,000 scholarships to county high school seniors on May 16.
Last night, Woodbridge Senior High School senior Victoria Lafranchise won one of two annual $1,000 merit scholarships the Prince William Art Society gives to county high school seniors. The Jewell Pratt Burns Scholarship, named for a longstanding member of the society, was given by its namesake to Lafranchise and Julia Moore of Forest Park High School during a special program. For the past five years, the Prince William Art Society has awarded two annual $1,000 merit scholarships to Prince William County area high school seniors. In addition to monetary funds, the two seniors received a certificate, a framed copy of one selected piece from their submission portfolio, and a one-year membership to the society. By Carlos Castro, WSHS Engineering Teacher and Robotics Sponsor Woodbridge Senior High School's burgeoning after-school robotics program gained more momentum this last Saturday as it captured the tournament title win at the VEX Robotics Washington, D.C. Regional Tournament. WSHS sent all five of its squads to compete against 66 teams from Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania at the Potomac School in McLean, VA. In a daylong tournament filled with qualifications matches, skills challenges, and interviews with judges, Woodbridge teams held their own against some of the best talent in the Mid-Atlantic. Students were allowed to look or sit inside and learn more about the U.S. Army.
On June 3, members of the U.S. Army came from Fort Belvoir to Woodbridge Senior High School. Students were allowed to tour an army helicopter. Some students chose to sit in the cockpit. The activities were educational for the students. Members of the U.S. Marine Corps were also there with an informational booth.
