Police: Teen Dosed With Non-Prescribed Meds
After teen falls at school, female family member charged with child abuse.
A Dale City woman has been arrested after a teen stumbled and fell at school while under the influence of non-prescribed medication, Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said. Samantha Dee Walsh, 33, was charged with two counts of child abuse and neglect, and two counts of distributing a schedule III or IV narcotic to a minor. She is being held without bond. Detectives from the Special Victims Bureau and Child Protective Services investigated a report of child abuse and neglect Jan. 28 on Ferndale Road.
