Dumfries Man Charged With Sexually Assaulting Two Woodbridge Girls

An 8-year-old and a 10-year-old were allegedly sexually assaulted.

Police have charged a Dumfries man with aggravated sexual battery and indecent liberties after two Woodbridge girls were reportedly sexually assaulted, said Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok.  The sexual assaults reportedly occurred Jan. 19, and Special Victims Bureau detectives began an investigation Jan. 20.  "The investigation revealed that the victims, an 8-year-old girl and a 10-year-old girl, both of Woodbridge, were at the residence of the accused, a known acquaintance, when both were sexually assaulted," Perok said. After the investigation, the accused was arrested Jan. 21. He was charged with two counts of aggravated sexual battery and two counts of indecent liberties. His court date is unavailable. He is …

"The Accused" was more than likely a trusted family member. It is so horrifying to know that our children simply aren't safe. @ John - it's very much a "black" problem. It is very common for black people to sweep it under the rug, accuse the child of lying, or simply keep their children away from that person in the future. Owner of Braids, Weaves and Gifts Charged With Sexual Battery

The reported victim was a 17-year-old job applicant.

Police have charged Steven Garey, of Woodbridge, with sexual battery after a 17-year-old Woodbridge female told police she was inappropriately touched while trying to apply for a job at Garey's business, Braids, Weaves and Gifts, Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.  Police responded on Aug. 31 at 5:20 p.m. to a report of a sexual assault at the Braids, Weaves and Gifts at 1455 Old Bridge Rd.  The victim told police that she was trying to apply for a job.  "Once inside, the accused, the owner of the business, guided her to a back room where he inappropriately touched the victim," Perok said. Dale City Man Charged With Forcible Sodomy of Female Toddler

The assault reportedly happened at a licensed residential daycare in Dale City.

An 18-year-old Dale City man was arrested and charged with sexual battery and forcible sodomy June 5 after an incident in which a three-year-old female was reportedly sexually assaulted at a licensed residential daycare in Dale City, police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.  "The victim was in the care of employees at the residence when the assault occurred," Perok said.  "The parent brought the child to the hospital, where we were notified," he added. No other assaults have been reported so far. The accused was arrested after an investigation. The investigation is ongoing. The accused was charged with two counts of forcible sodomy and one count of aggravated sexual battery. His court date is unavailable. He is being held without bond.
