Police: Three Wanted in Car Theft, Assault on Route 1

Stolen car was 2007 Chevrolet Taho, Prince William County Police said.

Police are looking for two men and a woman reportedly involved in the grand larceny of a Woodbridge man's vehicle, Prince William County Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.  Police initially responded on March 25 at 9:03 p.m. to the 13700 block of Jefferson Davis Highway for the report of a robbery. "The victim, a 36-year-old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was standing outside of a business in the above area when he observed three unknown individuals, two males and one female, walking towards his direction," Perok said. Police Looking For Man Who Reportedly Robbed Woodbridge Man

The victim said he was grabbed from behind and robbed.

Police are looking for an unknown man who reportedly robbed a Woodbridge resident Jan. 18, Prince William County police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.  The 68-year-old victim told police that he had just gotten to his resident in the 13100 block of Quick Place in Woodbridge when an unknown man grabbed him, took some money and ran away.  The victim was unharmed, and did not get a good look at the man. The alleged robber was about 5-foot-9 and medium build. Group Beat Up, Robbed Woodbridge Teenager

The men stole a jacket, iPod and cash before they fled on foot, police said.

A group of men allegedly ganged up on a Woodbridge teenager and robbed him in the middle of the night, police said.  The 16-year-old victim reported at 3:31 a.m. on Jan. 13 that he was walking near Kentucky and Florida avenues when a group of unknown men approached him. The men allegedly assaulted the victim, then knocked him to the ground and took his jacket, iPod and an undisclosed amount of cash. The men then fled on foot.  Police used a K-9 during the search, but did not find the suspects. The victim did not provide a description of the suspects and was unsure how many men were involved. Two Men Steal Victim's Wallet, Cell Phone

The victim was on his way back home when the two men assaulted him.

Two men robbed and assaulted a Dumfries man Saturday morning, Prince William County Police said.  The 56-year-old victim reported at 1 a.m. that he was walking to his home on Kilpatrick Place in Dumfries when two men approached him. The men subsequently assaulted him and stole his wallet and cell phone. They fled the area on foot. The victim reported minor injuries.  The description of the suspects was limited, but they were described as about 18-20 years old, with thin builds, and wearing masks.

Woman Robbed Behind Local Walmart

The robber stole money and fled on foot in Potomac Mills.

A Woodbridge woman was recently robbed behind the Walmart near Potomac Mills, Prince William County Police said.  The 23-year-old victim reported that at 9:48 p.m. Nov. 23 an unknown man had approached her after she left the store and was walking to the rear area. He demanded money and then fled on foot, after stealing an undisclosed amount of money.  The woman did not report any injuries. Police are looking for a black man between 17 and 23 years old, about 5-foot-8, around 150 pounds, with a thin build, brown eyes and short black hair. He was wearing a black or gray jacket, black cap with a yellow "P" and blue jeans. 

Man Robs Acquaintance in Dale City

Police say man implied he had a weapon, stole cash from the victim and then ran to a waiting car.

A Fairfax man drove an acquaintance to Dale City only to be robbed at gunpoint by his companion, Prince William County Police said.  The 25-year-old victim reported he picked up the male acquaintance in Lorton and drove him to Freemond Place and Ferndale Road around 11:35 p.m. Nov. 21. Once they parked in the area, the suspect implied he had a gun and demanded money. The man took an undisclosed amount of money before he fled to a waiting vehicle, police said. An unknown driver was inside that vehicle.  The incident was not random, police said. The victim did not report any injuries.

Three Arrested in Strong Armed Robberies

Information comes from the Prince William County Police department. Where charges or arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Police have tied together three robberies in the 2000 block of Daniel Stuart Square. According to police reports, several callers reported to police that a group of males were robbing numerous juveniles in the shopping area. Prince William County Police Public Information Officer Jonathan Perok said the investigation revealed that the group of males had robbed the victims independently.  The first victim, a 14-year-old Woodbridge boy, told police a group approached him, threatened him and demanded his watch. A second victim, a 15-year-old Woodbridge boy, told police he was approached by the same group who took his iPod touch. A third victim, 14, told police the group approached him and took a pair of headphones. No injuries were reported …

Lake Ridge Man Charged with Robbing Woodbridge Woman

Jamonte Antonio McKnight was arrested May 27 and charged with strong armed robbery. The following information comes from the Prince William County police department, it does not imply conviction.

On May 27, Jamonte Antonio McKnight, 27, of Lake Ridge, was arrested for and charged with strong armed robbery after a 19-year-old Woodbridge woman reported to police that a man ran by and grabbed money out of her hand as she was out shopping, said police spokesperson Jonathan Perok. Shortly before 3 p.m., the woman and a male acquaintance were about to go into a store in the 12400 block of Dillingham Square in Lake Ridge when they were robbed. After police arrived, witnesses helped to create a description of the man, who had run away from the scene and then driven away in a vehicle. No one was injured. The accused was found near his house in the 12300 block of Pond Run Drive. His court date is June 20 and he was held without bond.
