Updated: Arrest Made in Marumsco Plaza Shooting

Victim was flown out for life-threatening injuries.

Update, 9:16 a.m.: Prince William County detectives have arrested the man responsible for the shooting which occurred last night in the parking lot of the Marumsco Plaza, according to a post on the department's Facebook page. UPDATE: Police Release Surveillance Photos in Dale City 7-Eleven Robbery

Prince William County Police are investigating the latest in a string of possibly related 7-Eleven robberies.

Update, 2:45 p.m.: Police had released additional surveillance photos from the 7-Eleven robbery.  Original Post: Another local 7-Eleven was robbed at gunpoint over the weekend, Prince William County Police said.  Employees at the store on Dale Boulevard in Dale City reported that two unknown men entered the store around 3:18 a.m. on Oct. 14. Both were armed with handguns when they demanded money.  The men took an undisclosed amount of money and fled on foot. No one reported any injuries.  Police are on the lookout for two men between 18 to 25 years old, both black, about 5-foot-8, 160 pounds, with thin builds and black hair. Police: Man Struck Acquaintance With Shovel

Lou Yi, 52, of the 4400 block of Island Place in Annandale, was charged with malicious wounding.

Prince William County Police said an Annandale man was charged with malicious wounding after he struck an acquaintance with a shovel during an argument.  Lou Yi, 52, of Island Place in Annandale, was charged with malicious wounding in relation to an incident that took place on the 2300 block of Mizzen Place in Lake Ridge.  The 52-year-old victim reported on Oct. 13 at 1 a.m. that he was involved in an argument with Yi that escalated. Yi allegedly picked up a shovel and struck the victim in the leg, Officer Jonathan Perok, a spokesman for the Prince William County Police Department, said in a news release. UPDATED: Man Wanted for Strangulation Turns Himself In

Attempts to locate suspect have been unsuccessful, Prince William County police said.

Update 3:37 p.m.:  Police announced Friday afternoon that the accused turned himself into police on Oct. 5.  Original Post:  Prince William County Police have issued a warrant for a man in conjunction with a strangulation reported on Potomac Mills Road. Police responded to the 14600 block of Potomac Mills Road at 11:40 p.m. Oct. 3 for a reported assault.  According to a police report, a 29-year-old Woodbridge woman reported she and a known acquaintance were involved in a physical altercation. Fredericksburg Man Charged with Robbery

A Fredericksburg man has been charged with robbery following a police investigation into a report at the 2800 block of Chablis Circle on Thursday.  According to police reports, a 23-year-old Woodbridge woman told police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were at her residence in Lake Ridge when the accused allegedly displayed a knife and demanded her medication. Police reports said Jesse Owen McDonald, 24, allegedly took the medication and left the residence.  No injuries were reported in the incident. McDonald was located by Fredericksburg Police in Fredericksburg and was detained following the incident, Prince William County police reports said.  McDonald is charged with robbery. His court date is set for Oct. 5 and he is …

Police Charge Two MS-13 Gang Members with Burglary

Three firearms were reported missing from a 2011 burglary.

Prince William County Gang Unit detectives have arrested a man and teenager for a burglary in the 1300 block of Saxon Street last November. A homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 7:30 a.m. on Nov. 24, 2011 and 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 25. Police said there were no signs of forced entry into the residence, but that someone could have entered the house through an unsecured window. Three firearms -- including two long guns and one handgun -- ammunition and a carrying case valued around $970 were reported missing in the burglarly.  Police said one of the suspects, 17, was found at his address where he was arrested without incident. Burke Woman Charged with Assault & Battery on Law Enforcement Officer

Prince William County Police charged a Burke woman with assault and battery on a law enforcement officer Friday while she was being processed at the Garfield station in Woodbridge. Police reports said that Endeela Khaliq, 44, was being processed for a marijuana charge when she became "irate with the officer and refused to follow commands." "At one point, the accused swung at the officer, grazing him in the face," police reports said. "Other officers were able to assist in controlling the accused. No injuries were reported."  Khaliq's court date was unavailable and she is currently being held without bond, according to police.

Woodbridge Man Charged with Sex Crimes

The following comes from the Prince William County Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

Prince William County Police have arrested and charged a Woodbridge man with three counts of object sexual penetration, one count of indecent liberties with a minor and one count of aggravated sexual battery. According to police reports, detectives from the Special Victims Bureau wrapped up an investigation Aug. 15 into an alleged sexual assault that was reported in Manassas. A 19-year-old woman who resided in Manassas at the time of the offenses was allegedly assaulted by a Woodbridge man, a known family member, on several occasions when she was a child, police reports show.  Following the investigation, the Woodbridge man was arrested.

Fire Department: Fire at Apartment Complex 'Intentionally Set'

Man was arrested and charged with setting fire to an occupied residential structure.

Prince William County fire officials said Tuesday that a fire in a Woodbridge apartment complex over the weekend was intentionally set.  On Saturday, July 28 at 6 a.m., fire and rescue units responded to a structure fire at the multi-family complex of Landings at Markhams Grant located in the 15700 block of Tassleford Lane in Woodbridge. "Upon arrival, firefighters observed light smoke emitting from the building and evacuation of the building had begun," said a release from the Prince William County Department of Fire and Rescue. "As firefighters proceeded through the building, a fire was discovered in a first floor apartment but was under control due to the activation of a single sprinkler head. Woodbridge Woman Reportedly Sexually Assaulted in Dillingham Square

The reported assault happened on Saturday afternoon.

Police are looking for a man who reportedly sexually assaulted a 49-year-old Woodbridge woman in the Dillingham Square parking lot in Lake Ridge, Prince William County spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.  "The victim...reported to police that she was approached by an unknown male suspect in the parking lot of the above location," Perok said. "During the encounter, the suspect allegedly grabbed the victim's chest prior to fleeing the area in an older model grey vehicle."  Police responded on July 28 at 4:40 p.m. No one was injured.
