A local Wawa celebrated 15 years in the area this week with a Wawaversary: an in-store celebration styled after a family reunion.
The store at 2051 Daniel Stewart Square welcomed customers to the celebration on Aug. 27. Honored customers took pictures with Wawa's mascots, and longtime customers were given ceremonial keys to the store.
This is the last year for Wawa's Wawaversary celebrations. During the year, Wawa will give away free coffee, give some free beverages to milestone customers, and donate over $2 million to various charities.
