Over $12K in Cash, Jewelry Stolen From Woodbridge Home

The front door had been forced open, police said.

A burglar made off with $12,700 in cash and jewelry from a Woodbridge home sometime Friday, according to Prince William County Police.

At 9:15 p.m., police responded to the 11700 block of Chanceford Drive, where a homeowner reported that the burglary occurred earlier in the day.

Police believe entry was made through the front door,  which was probably forced open between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.
