Police: Armed Robber Demands Pills at CVS

Unknown subject showed a handgun and demanded pain medicine before fleeing the scene, according to Prince William County Police.

Prince William County Police are investigating an attempted armed robbery early Friday at the CVS on Jefferson Davis Highway.

Officers responded to the drugstore at 3:30 a.m., according to PWCPD spokesperson Officer Jonathan Perok.

An employee told police that a masked man had entered the business and approached the pharmacy counter. The man reportedly showed the employee a handgun and demanded pain medication, according to Perok.

The employee ran out an emergency exit, triggering the store's alarm system. The robber fled the store without taking anything, according to Perok. 

Suspect Description: 

  • Black male, between 21 & 35 years of age.
  • 5’10”, 165lbs with a medium build 
  • Last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black mask, dark green pants, black and red shoes, and gray gloves
