Police: Beer Bottle Used as Weapon in Armed Robbery

The victim's wallet and cell phone were reportedly stolen.

Police are looking for two men who reportedly assaulted and robbed a Woodbridge man on Bel Air Road on Nov. 1, Prince William County Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said. 

Police responded to Bel Air Road at 10:15 p.m. for the report of a robbery.

"The victim, a 48-year-old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was walking in the area above when he encountered two unknown men. During the encounter, one of the men struck the victim in the face with a beer bottle," Perok said. "The men took the victim’s wallet and cell phone before fleeing the area on foot. The victim was treated at an area hospital for non-life threatening injuries. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspects."

The victim described his attackers as two Hispanic men of unknown ages. The first was reportedly about 5-foot-8 and 140 pounds with a thin build, and wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans. The second was reportedly about 5-foot-4 and 140 pounds with a thin build, and wearing a black T-shirt and blue jeans.
