Police: Man Attacks Juvenile With Brass Knuckles After Bikes Stolen

The minor stole two bikes from the suspect's home on Lynbrook Court, Prince William County Police said.

A Dale City man hit a juvenile on the face with a pair of brass knuckles after the minor stole a pair of bikes from him, Prince William County Police said.

Jordan Andrew Ponce, 20, of Lynbrook Court, is charged with malicious wounding. Charges are also pending against the minor and another male juvenile for stealing the bikes, said police spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok.

Police responded on Saturday at 7:13 p.m. to the 13600 block of Lynbrook Court for a report of a fight between Ponce and several juveniles from the neighborhood.

"The fight stemmed from an earlier incident which involved the victim and another suspect taking two bicycles from the residence of the accused," said police spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok. "The situation escalated when the victim and several other juveniles went to the residence of the accused which led to the physical alteration."

Ponce grabbed a pair of brass knuckles and struck the victim on the face, causing non-life-threatening injuries, Perok said. After an investigation, police arrested Ponce, who is held without bond pending his court date.
