Police: Man Steals Vehicle, iPad at Gunpoint

Police are looking for a stolen vehicle with Mississippi plates.

Police are looking for a man who reportedly stole a car, an iPad, and some cash from a Woodbridge man on Sept. 22, Prince William County Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said. 

Police initially responded at 9:02 p.m. that night to the 12700 block of Ripple Creek Court in Woodbridge for the report of a robbery. 

"The victim, a 23-year-old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was walking to his vehicle in the parking of the above area when he was approached by an unknown man," Perok said. "The man displayed a handgun and struck the victim to his face before taking the victim’s car keys, iPad, and an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency. The suspect then fled the area in the victim’s vehicle. Minor injuries were reported."

Police are looking for a Hispanic man between 20 and 30 years old, about 6-foot-1 in height, 160 pounds, with a thin build, short black hair, brown eyes, and a tattoo under his right eye that reads "13." He was described as wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and red pants. The stolen vehicle is a 2005 blue two-door Chevrolet Corvette with Mississippi license plates reading MQR454.
