Police: Newspaper Delivery Man Robbed at Gunpoint in Woodbridge

The man was reportedly robbed of some cash.

Police are looking for a suspect who reportedly robbed a newspaper delivery man at gunpoint in Woodbridge, Prince William County Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said.

Police responded to the 3300 block of Noble Pond Way on Oct. 6 at 3:02 a.m. for the report of a robbery.

"The victim, a 41-year-old man of Fort Washington, MD, reported to police that he was in the area above loading his vehicle with newspapers for delivery, when he was approached by an unknown man," Perok said. "The man displayed a handgun and demanded the victim’s money. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency from the victim before fleeing on foot. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect."

The suspect is described as a black man between 25 and 30 years old, about 5-foot-7, 145 pounds, with a thin build. He was described as wearing a black long-sleeved shirt, black pants and a black ski mask.
