Police: Trick-or-Treaters Robbed of Halloween Candy at Gunpoint

Police are looking for four suspects.

Police are looking for four male suspects who reportedly assaulted and robbed a Woodbridge man and woman and took their candy, Prince William County Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said. 

Police responded to Indus Drive and Hatteras Court on Oct. 31 at 8:12 p.m. for the report of a robbery.

"The victims, a 19-year-old male and an 18-year-old female, both of Woodbridge, reported to police that they were walking in the area above when they were approached by a group of four unknown males," Perok said. "One of the males displayed a handgun and demanded candy from both victims. The male victim refused to give up the candy and was struck in the face multiple times by another one of the males. The suspects were able to get the female victim’s candy before fleeing on foot. Minor injuries were reported."

The armed suspect was described as a black teen between 16 and 18 years old, about 5-foot-8, 160 pounds, with a thin build. He was reportedly seen wearing a black sweatshirt, black jeans and a black and white mask. The assailant was described as a Hispanic teen between 16 and 18 years old, about 5-foot-8, 165 pounds, with a thin build and black hair. He was reportedly seen wearing a green and white shirt and blue jeans. No further description was given for the other two suspects.
