Police: Victim Attacked by Group of Men at His Home

Four men involved in the assault, Prince William County Police said.

A group of men assaulted a Dumfries man at his home Sunday evening, Prince William County Police said.

Anibal Joshua Geova Coleman, 22, of Nugent Place in Dumfries, Alex Celin Junior Coleman, 18, of the same address, and Travis Austin Wilbur Brathwaite, 26, of Swans Lane in Dumfries, are each charged with malicious wounding by mob.

The 23-year-old victim told police that he was inside his home on Cherry Hill Road when he heard someone knocking at the door. After he answered, he saw Coleman, who is an acquaintance, said police spokesman Officer Jonathan Perok.

"After a verbal exchange, two other males approached and began to assault the victim while a fourth male remained in the driver’s seat of a vehicle. Following the assault, the men fled in that vehicle," Perok said.

The men left in a car driven by Brathwaite, according to Perok.

THe victim reported minor injuries and was able to identify the three men. He was unable to identify the fourth man.
