Two Men Robbed, Assaulted in Dumfries

The victim told police that he was dropping off a co-worker when two unknown men robbed them.

A Woodbridge teen was robbed after he tried to help a co-worker who was being assaulted, according to Prince William County Police. 

Police responded to Old Triangle Road and McClellan Court in Dumfries around midnight Sunday, when an 18-year-old Woodbridge man reported the assault. 

The victim told police that he was dropping off a co-worker when two unknown men approached them. One of the men began to assault the co-worker. When the victim tried to intervene, the other man brandished a handgun. Both suspects stole items that belonged to the victim before they fled the area in a four-door silver vehicle. 

Neither man reported any injuries. 

The first suspect is described as a black male, 23-24 years old, about 6 feet tall, 230 pounds, with a heavy build and short black hair. 

The second suspect is described as a black male, 20-22 years old, 6'2", 180 pounds with a thin build, long black dreadlocks and an unshaven face. He was last seen wearing a gray and black t-shirt and dark blue jeans.
