Woman Attacked Outside Store and Pushed to the Ground, Police Say

Jaguar Robert Williams-Palmer, 20, of no fixed address, was charged with attempted rape.

A 19-year-old woman was walking to a store when a man with his pants dropped to his knees took her to the ground and climbed on top of her, according to the Prince William County Police Department.

The incident took place at 6:13 p.m. Friday on the 14500 block of Potomac Mills Road in Woodbridge. Authorities said that the woman was walking into the HH Gregg when the man approached her from behind, picked her up, and took her to the ground.

Multiple people intervened to get the man off the victim before officers arrived and detained the man, authorities said.

Jaguar Robert Williams-Palmer, 20, of no fixed address, was charged with attempted rape. He is being held without bond.
