Woodbridge Teen Charged in Potomac Mills Robbery

A Woodbridge teen is charged with the Thursday robbery of a Potomac Mills currency exchange kiosk.

The 17-year-old male is charged with robbery and use of a firearm in commission of a felony.

Detectives from Prince William County Police Department's Robbery Unit were able to identify the suspect the day after the robbery, when an unidentified man passed a note to the clerk at the Currency Exchange International, demanding money.

Police said the teenager was arrested near his residence without incident on Friday.  Investigators also executed a search warrant on the teenager's home.

The suspect is held at the juvenile detention center.
